This practical, engaging and jargon-free course is suitable for operatives, labourers, contractors and anyone who regularly works within a construction environment. It focuses on the real-world hazards encountered on site and the measures required to protect workers, the public and the environment.

Delegates will gain an understanding of:

  • Health and safety responsibilities within the construction industry
  • Relevant legislation and site requirements
  • Risk assessments and method statements
  • Common construction hazards and control measures
  • Working at height and confined space awareness
  • Site welfare requirements
  • Safe use of work equipment and PPE
